windows animation like thoese that happen when u minimises or maximise windows look good... but only if u have good ram , speed. to get most performance out of ur settings turn off this settings . you could do it via a host of setting in GUI, but this registry hack does it all in single fell swoop.

navigate to :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\CONTROL PANEL\DESKTOP\WINDOWSMETRICS


change the value MinAnimation too 0 to disable winbdows Animation

restart computer
